The Story of my Bows & Leanne’s Bowtique:

I began to first wear my bow at the 2018 US Classics and have worn one every practice since then. I enjoy wearing matching colors every day and having my entire outfit match, and the bow is such an easy addition to my outfits. I slip it right over my bun in 2 seconds. Everyone loved my bows and my bow became my signature in the gymnastics world. After being a 2021 Olympic Alternate in Tokyo, Japan, and winning a Silver AA medal & Bronze Floor medal at the World Championships in Kitakyushu, Japan, I decided it would be a great time to begin sharing my bows with you! Every single bow is made by hand and love. ❀️

My bows were born in one of my high school elective classes. Since I only went to school for half a day and left early for gymnastics practice, I had to take all my elective courses online. I had already taken all of the possible online elective classes at my school district (Blue Valley) and had to explore classes from other districts. I found a unique class at Lawerence Virtual School (LVS) called Fashion and Interior Design.

For one of the assignments, I decided to hand-make a light pink bow. I loved the bow so much and began wearing it with all of my leotards. I soon ran out of leos that would match the color of the bow and began making bows of all different colors. I soon had 10 different colored bows, then 20, then 40, and now have over 100 bows with all different designs. I give a lot of thanks to my mom who helped me make my bows.
